Look at the collar, placket and sleeve together
A polo has a collar and a short front opening rather than the open neckline of a typical T-shirt. The white listing adds contrast around the collar; the striped long-sleeve listing changes both the pattern and arm coverage.
Use a full front view to compare the collar shape and where the opening finishes. If you prefer an understated outfit, the grey preview offers a simpler visible design. That observation describes the photo, not fabric quality or construction.
Use a collared top as your measurement reference
UNIQLO’s product measurement guidance distinguishes finished-garment dimensions from body measurements. Follow the listing’s own diagram for body width, length, shoulder and sleeve, then measure a comparable top you already wear.
Do not transfer a T-shirt size without checking the proportions. A polo collar, placket and sleeve shape can change how a top sits. For long sleeves, confirm where the sleeve measurement starts; shoulder-to-cuff and centre-back-to-cuff are different paths.
Check collar details without inventing material claims
The contrasting collar and stripes are visible design choices. The images do not establish fibre composition, pique texture, shrinkage or colourfastness. Read the current listing’s composition and care information for those questions.
At QC, prioritise the selected colour, collar shape, front opening, sleeve ends and size label. If the main concern is fit, request a body-width and length photo using the chart’s method. If the concern is a striped pattern, compare the exact colour arrangement with the selected variant.
