Plain, panelled and graphic styles are different starting points

The grey preview has a restrained front design, while yellow side panels and the light-blue graphic create stronger contrasts. Compare the position of those features on the whole garment instead of choosing from a cropped detail.

A sporty appearance does not establish a running or swimming specification. The photos cannot prove quick-drying performance, lining or stretch. Check fabric and intended-use notes when those properties matter to your plans.

Waist and hip charts may describe your body

Nike’s shorts guide uses body waist and hip measurements. It is a useful example of reading a chart’s definition, but its size conversion should not be applied to these unrelated listings. A seller may instead supply flat garment measurements.

If the waist is elastic, ask what the reported number means: relaxed width, stretched width or a suggested body range. Compare with a pair that fits you using the same method. A visible drawcord does not establish the full adjustment range.

Inseam and overall length are not interchangeable

The inseam follows the inside leg from the crotch; overall length follows a different path that includes the upper section. Check the seller’s diagram so you know which number controls the comparison.

For the silhouette you want, record leg opening and rise as well as length. A roomy thigh with a short inseam looks different from a narrower, longer pair. At QC, request the selected size label and a measurement image with clear endpoints if length is your deciding factor.
