Warehouse decisions

When should you combine items into one OopBuy parcel?

Decide what to do with each stored item before treating everything as one ready parcel.

Quick answer

Review each item’s status, photos and unanswered questions before combining orders. Set a deadline for waiting; storage does not extend return eligibility.

OopBuy warehouse planning: receipt, review and parcel

Warehouse timeline illustration: 1 receipt and review, 2 resolve item decisions, 3 confirm the parcel. It is a planning sequence, not a promised processing schedule.

Step-by-step checks

  1. Record each item’s clock

The storage notice gives normal orders 90 days from received, and abnormal or unmatched packages 30 days from signed for. Record each item’s actual status and deadline.

  2. Resolve item questions promptly

Check variants and photos promptly. The return notice describes a separate five-day warehouse window; waiting for another item does not reset it.

  3. Set a reason and deadline for waiting

Set a limit for waiting on another order. The storage notice lists paid extension; confirm availability and application rather than assuming it happens automatically.

  4. Confirm the parcel you will submit

Choose kept items and packaging, then compare their parcel quote. Consolidation does not guarantee savings; check packed measurements, route conditions and services.

Example to work through

One item is stored; another has not arrived. Resolve an option question on the stored item, then compare its deadlines with your waiting plan.

Avoid this shortcut

Free storage is not a return period. Resolve questions about an item before including it just to complete a parcel.

Question to adapt

What are this item’s storage deadline and remaining return options? I am waiting for another order; what must I do before extending storage or submitting a parcel?

These are illustrative scenarios and suggested questions, not real customer orders or service promises.

Your checklist

Keep one note per item. This worksheet neither calculates deadlines nor submits an extension.

Record the status and actual deadline for each item separately.

Record which views or measurements are still missing and which option questions remain unresolved for each item.

Check the separate return conditions before choosing to wait.

Name the arrival you are waiting for and a date to review the decision.

Record the kept items and packaging instructions used for the quote.

Notes stay in this page and are not sent anywhere. Print them before leaving; they are not saved after a reload.

Common questions

Does consolidation always reduce shipping cost?

Compare the proposed parcel’s actual quote, packed contents, route and services. Combining items alone does not establish a saving.

Can I wait until storage expires to decide on a return?

Check the separate return window and seller conditions promptly. The storage deadline is not the return deadline.
